timex T71912 Youth digital watch is reliable, durable, and readable in the dark, thanks to the integrated Indiglo night-light, but it's also flat-out fun to wear. It features an easily readable digital display with large, recognizable icons for the chrono, alarm, and timer functions, and a comfortable elastic fabric strap (for better dirt and stain resistance) with camouflage pattern. This watch also offers water resistance to 30 meters (99 feet), 12/24-hour time, durable translucent olive resin case, large function buttons, and
timex's unique Kids Loss Protection Plan. It's recommended for children ages 6 and older.
The Indiglo night-light uniformly lights the surface of the watch dial using patented blue electroluminescent lighting technology. It uses less battery power than most other watch illumination systems, enabling your watch battery to last longer. The Night Mode feature allows you to illuminate the Indiglo night-light for 3 seconds with any button press, regardless of the mode or function.
timex understands that kids often lose things, even their most prized possessions, which is why this watch is covered by the timex Kids Loss Protection Plan. If the watch is lost, timex will replace it with the same style (or similar if your style is not available) at the price of $10 for up to one year from the original date of purchase, with no questions asked. Details are included in the printed instructions that come with the watch.
We couldn't figure out how to set it. Maybe we should have settled with an analog clock instead. For some reason, the time goes backward!
My son loves this watch! Really cool easy on-easy off stretch camouflage band,push a button to illuminate face, easy to read digitals, sturdy and all boy! He can do everything himself, which mom loves! He loves the way he can light up the face in the dark. He wears it everyday. Can't beat the value for the price.
Besides the obvious coolness of this style watch, it is the perfect fit for children. The band is very comfortable and stretchy. My kid's wrist is very small and it fits awsome.
Great item. Bought this for my nine year old son. He loves it. He can operate the timer and the stopwatch which come in handy for many things. Also, he is much more aware of the time with a watch on his wrist than he was before, helping me keep him on schedule. Rough little boy, and so far, the watch has held up wonderfully.
I bought this for my 8 year old son and he loves it. Because of the elastic band, it's easy for him to put on and take off.
We have been very happy with this watch. My son bought it with his allowance money because he loved the camo arm band. He has not taken it off his arm since, and it has gone through a lot, but is still working. I enjoy the wrist band because it stretches over the hand, instead of "buckling" it on the wrist, which can be challenging for children.
