Using this men's timex Perpetual Calendar watch means that you'll never have to set the watch again: It will always give you the correct day and date no matter what the month or year -- even leap years. The watch has a wide silver-tone bezel and a genuine brown leather band that will look good on any wrist. The white dial has silver-tone Arabic numerals to denote three, six, nine, and 12 o'clock and dashes for the rest of the hours. The day and date window is at the three o'clock position. The watch features a quartz movement, the Indiglo night light, and a mineral crystal, and it is water resistant to 328 feet (100 meters). It is covered by the manufacturer's 1-year warranty.

As the owner of two other Timex Perpetual calendar (PC)watches, this is the best one.

It has the qualities of all of the PC watches by Timex: The day & date are always correct, the quartz movement is quite accurate - about one or two seconds a month, the battery lasts 7 years, and it it easy to read.

The shape of this watch accomodates its size (40 mm major axis) while still fitting a rather small wrist such as mine. It is also a very pleasing watch to look at. I am disappointed that it has disappeared from the Timex catalog.

I purchased this model Timex a little over a year ago, and of the three model Timex watches that I have had, it is the best one for the following reasons:
1. It is the nicest looking watch. I received several compliments.
2. It is easy to view. It isn't cluttered.
3. It is the most accurate watch that I have ever owned. I never have to change the day or date.
4. The band that it came with is the sturdiest and most comfortable band that I have ever worn.
5. An excellent value in a man's watch.


Nice Timex Watch. This Timex watch is a very simple dress or casual use watch. The brown band is real leather. The watch has a very easy to read dial face. The month and date does set itself. No more pulling the crown on the 31st to set it for the 1st of the month.

The manufactor instructions guarantee the battery life for 7 years and after 7 years for $7.00 Timex will replace the battery and recalibrate the watch. The brown leather band does cost $6.00 more than the black leather band.

I think it well worth the money for under $60.00 for a watch that sets itself at the end of every month.
