WATCH WAS EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED, CHEAP, EASY TO SEE, RUGGED. THE ONLY NEGATIVE IS THE BAND, IF IT WAS ELASTIC OR VELCRO IT WOULD BE EASIER TO FIT YOUR ARM.


I have found this to be an excellent watch thus far. It is precise, and stays on the time set. It is very comfortable to wear, never have a sore wrist or skin chaffing or anything. The whole military style is very cool also. All in all, an excellent buy, and I would recommend to anyone.


Safe arrived, neat packaging and presentation. Considered a successful purchase of all apects. A plus for the extra battery if contains.


My BF was looking for this watch in those army navy stores and they wanted a whole lot more than what i paid for so i bought two! Great buy!


Sure is a low price item but I espected a real watch not a toy.Caution case is plastic not metal.

I love the watch, its sporty but still nice enough to wear to work. The cloth band is unique too, i'm very happy with it.


I bought this watch for my husband so he could know what time it was while windsurfing. We chose this model after reading numerous positive reviews... but had a bad experience, as water got into the watch on the first time out windsurfing in the SF Bay. Ended up being a waste of the $20 or so... glad we didn't spend more on it.


This is probably hands down the best watch of all time! My girlfriend thinks it is loud, but its kinda funny to me in a way how it bugs her. This watch is so awesome, that I have it in green and black! Get it! Peace!

The watch works just fine. The window is plastic instead of glass and scratched the first day I wore it. But, it is a inexpensive watch so you get what you pay for


I bought this watch as an EMT student so I would have a dependable watch to get vitals with. After 2 months of everyday use, it has developed 4 large scratches. I've never had a watch face scratch this easily. I would not recommend this watch to anyone unless you plan on using it very gently.


I like this watch a great deal and have very few complaints. It is easy to read, keeps great time, and the battery has lasted for almost three years now.
The band is my only complaint. As with most velcro, after a few hundred (or thousand as it actually may be) openings and closings, it begins to get less secure. I find I have to tighten it up more often than I used to. Still, the watch is so light I usually forget it is there. I do not think you'll be disappointed.


I'm an old woman who doesn't like ditzy watches. This watch has a big face, and actual numbers. No slashes or dashes. When i look at my wrist I can see what time it is right away. The velcro strap is easy on and off, and the watch weighs practically nothing. When I wake up in the middle of the night this great watch tells me what time it is with out having to turn on a light. love it.


The watch looks great. Not doubt. The time hands work.
The problem is the date, it runs a little slow so I need to adjust every time I wear it.


Great sport watch at a great price. Comfortable band and all the features I need from a watch. Amazon is a great company to deal with.


I bougt this watch for my husband who is very tough on his watches. He loves it and so far it has held up to the abuse of a construction worker.


I am pleased with the Expedition watch. It fits very naturally and is easily adjustable. It is lightweight and easy to read day or night. It seems to keep good time, but now days most all watches do.

The only complaints I have is that the "crystal" is too soft, and easily scatched, and that the band can be a little difficult to put on if you have to unloop it all the way. The second is not a big deal, but the first is kind of dissapointing. It is supposed to be an active outdoor accessory.

Overall though, I am pleased with my purchase and recomend it to anyone wanting a watch for work or play.


Very good watch. The second-hand is difficult to see, but I rarely need it. I bought this particular watch because the hour and minute hands are easy to see. The strap uses velcro as a fastener, and it is a little difficult to put through the loop. Those are minor problems, and on the whole I am very satisfied with the product.


Let me start off by saying,I have been wearing wrist watches for some 5o+ years,and all my watches have been Timex. Although certainly not the most expensive,they are without a doubt one of the most dependable and accurate watches money can buy.This watch is just as described,indiglo lighted dial and luminus hands to see in the dark. Would like to have a little bit larger date to make reading it easy? The strap is a fast strap with velcro closers.These straps have worked quite well for me,this is the 3rd. watch they have been on.

I love this watch, I am female and it looks great on my arm. I like its thinness and the larger number and bigger face make it easier to read. The second hand tick isn't THAT loud, but then I don't sleep in a watch either. Its a tough watch and waterproof too. I think men or women can wear this watch. Times has yet another winner!


I really like the minimalist style of this watch, but the noise created by the second hand is so loud that it keeps me from sleeping. I can even still hear it when I curl my hand around it. Don't buy this watch unless you have moderate hearing damage. The noise is too annoying and this thing is going back to the store.

The title of my review was part of an enduring ad campaign that ran for years decades ago. I'm in my 60th year and have never bought any brand other than Timex because they're inexpensive, stylish, and incredibly durable. I've owned this particular watch for several years now and have yet to replace the battery. It's light and comfortable on the wrist. Furthermore, it keeps perfect time and is easy to see. I needed a reliable easy to read watchj that I could use without fear of it being broken. This watch more than fits that need and is actyuaqlly fairly good looking.


I swim regularly in a pool, sometimes in the ocean, and I've had no problems at all with this watch for the past two months. It is perfect to wear for the gym and other activities, since it is light like a paper clip. The watch band is nylon, so it dries quickly and won't rot like leather if it gets wet. The dial lights up when you press the button so there is no trouble reading it in the dark. Also, the hands glow in the dark even without pressing the button, so that you can still read the time if both hands are busy. For this price, you can't get a more perfect sport and swimming watch.

The band secures with velcro, so you get a perfect fit every time you put it on. No hassles taking out links, nor with the "holes" on a standard band wearing out or ripping.

Note that at a rating of 50M, it is only meant for shallow swimming, not SCUBA, nor snorkeling. But it's great in the pool, and you won't find another watch that is a better deal.


This is an ideal work watch.

I work in a max/med security prison and needed a cheaper but good quality work watch. This watch fit the bill nicely. It does not have the velcro band like the one with the black face. When this watch breaks it will be replaced with another one just like it.


This watch is great for my daily workouts. It is light and easy to wear while I am running or lifting weights.


I bought this watch because it said Case Diameter 41mm. Its not that size at all. It's not what I expected from a seller at Amazon to do.
When I bought the Dakota Black field watch I got the large size.
The watches size is a kids watch.
I am very very upset over this purchase. I just wanted a large face watch which is simple to use.

I also have had this watch for years. I bought it to wear when I'm out doing yard work, working with concrete,carpentry, etc. I figured it would last a summer or so. The watch is light, dial is easy to read, the crystal is still unscratched and I have yet to change the battery. The watch keeps great time and the indiglo light works as advertised. Easily worth twice the price. This watch is one of those few things in life that far exceed expectations.


Everythng I wanted! Indiglo, date, waterproof, stylish. I bought this for my boyfriend, he loves it.


I have owned a lot of watches in my day, but this one stands out above all others. Forget that designer crap and go for this one. It's stylish, rugged, and functional. Indiglo, date and 10yr. battery life.

I seldom do reviews on products, as I enjoy writing about books more. But every so often I come across a product that not only meets the advertisement claims, but far exceeds them. This watch, the Timex Men's Expedition Camper Watch is one of those products. I have had mine for years and I do mean years! I have expensive watches which at times I will wear, but this one is by far the best of the lot. Now I am very hard on watches; really not giving them a break. The one I have now has spent as much time in the water as it has on dry land, or so it seems at times. It has been in dust storms, freezing weather, saltwater, mud, manure, sand and muck of unknown origins. Through all of this it has kept almost perfect time. Once about ever three or four months I have to make a slight adjustment, but that is all. Numbers on the watch are big, which I like and it is simple, i.e. no bells and whistles to worry about.

While I feel it is very attractive, apparently many do not, as I have left this one laying around the gym on many occasions and it as yet to be stolen. The only problem I have ever had with the thing is that once in a while I will catch it on something and one of the metal spring things that hold the watch to the band will break. This does not happen often. The last time it happened to me, an Emu was dragging me down a fence line and the watch caught on the wire of the fence. I was able to fix it that after noon.

If you want something fancy and expensive; go elsewhere. If you want a good buy on a watch that is hard to kill and keeps good time; then this is the one for you.

NOTE: I have to say that I have had to periodically buy new bands for this one. The bands take as much of a beating as the watch does and are exposed to constant sweat and tend to weaken over time. They are rather inexpensive though, so this really in no big deal.
