This is my everyday watch for work. I enjoy everything about the watch from the comfortable, stylish band to easy-to-read face with second hand. The calendar is set independent of the time setting. This watch is everything I was looking for.


I bought this watch as a gift to my girlfriend and she's quite happy with it, I have no complains at all.

WATCH WAS EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED, CHEAP, EASY TO SEE, RUGGED. THE ONLY NEGATIVE IS THE BAND, IF IT WAS ELASTIC OR VELCRO IT WOULD BE EASIER TO FIT YOUR ARM.


I have found this to be an excellent watch thus far. It is precise, and stays on the time set. It is very comfortable to wear, never have a sore wrist or skin chaffing or anything. The whole military style is very cool also. All in all, an excellent buy, and I would recommend to anyone.


Safe arrived, neat packaging and presentation. Considered a successful purchase of all apects. A plus for the extra battery if contains.


My BF was looking for this watch in those army navy stores and they wanted a whole lot more than what i paid for so i bought two! Great buy!


Sure is a low price item but I espected a real watch not a toy.Caution case is plastic not metal.

I love the watch, its sporty but still nice enough to wear to work. The cloth band is unique too, i'm very happy with it.


I bought this watch for my husband so he could know what time it was while windsurfing. We chose this model after reading numerous positive reviews... but had a bad experience, as water got into the watch on the first time out windsurfing in the SF Bay. Ended up being a waste of the $20 or so... glad we didn't spend more on it.


This is probably hands down the best watch of all time! My girlfriend thinks it is loud, but its kinda funny to me in a way how it bugs her. This watch is so awesome, that I have it in green and black! Get it! Peace!

It features a large silver stainless steel watch case that's topped by a bi-directional rotating bezel with black engraved elapsed time markings and coin-edged detailing for a sure grip in inclement conditions. The dark gray dial includes large stick markers, luminous hands (with orange seconds hand), and small minute indexes. The Indiglo night-light uniformly lights the surface of the watch dial using patented blue electroluminescent lighting technology. The Night Mode feature allows you to illuminate the Indiglo night-light for 3 seconds with any button press, regardless of the mode or function.

I bought this watch as a replacement for an older Timex that had similar features. I love the features -- both analog and digital, alarm, timer, Indiglo, multiple time zones (it says three but it really is one analog and two digital time zones). Unfortunately the rotating bezel did not work at all -- the numbers are there but it does not rotate at all. This was one of the reasons I bought this model.

When it arrived, I started to set the time, alarm, etc. The buttons were slow to respond and then it started beeping continuously (like a loud alarm) and none of the buttons worked at all. I could not get it to stop making noise and it did so for almost an hour.

Eventually it stopped making noise and seemed to begin working properly again. I had read the other negative review but dismissed it as a one-time defect. Now that it has happened to me and did so right out of the box, I do not recommend this watch.


As for longevity I cannot speak - only had it a week. But its a solid watch. Seems very well built to me. Nice to have an analog with the dependability of a digital alarm. Though the leather band is quality I actually replaced the band with a Timex Expedition Fast Wrap for a river trip & I don't think I'll be replacing it any time soon - great band and the 20mm size fits the watch well.

Note that despite what some sites say this watch (T45191) allows for tracking 2 timezones and not 3, and the bezel does NOT turn - its a permanent part of the brushed stainless steel case. Fine by me - one less part to break. The watch face also is more grey than black so its a bit lighter than what you see in the photo. As of this writing the cost on this watch is down to $36 but I would have paid the retail $59.95 for it. It really seems to be a solid piece.


I bought this watch a little over a year ago. Yesterday it started ringing and found that the battery needed to be changed. Spent $7.25 to have battery changed, started ringing in less than an hour. Went back to battery store and found the watch had fried the battery and was junk. I no longer had the recipt for proof of purchase for any warranty. I expected the watch to last longer then this.

This watch satisfies the requirements that I have, a loud enough alarm and night reading but I would prefer not to have the numbers around the ring which looks more like a divers watch. I would like to see more attractive women's watches that have good alarms and can be read at night.


I picked this watch out as my birthday present and am very pleased with it. It seems like it is pretty tough and I tend to not think about taking a watch off while I am doing things. So this matches my lifestyle.


I also had problems with the date; not only is it too small for me to read easily, but the first time I changed the time for daylight saving, the date was off by 12 hours. That is, the date would change at 12 noon instead of 12 a.m. I reset it with difficulty (I have trouble with the tiny stems), but it still would change at the wrong time of day.

The next problem was with the lower stem; I couldn't get it to pull out, then when I tugged on it with my fingernails, it came all the way off. The watch still worked, but the stem won't move the hands and the Indiglo function no longer works. The outer bezel ring won't move them either; moreover, when I rotated the bezel to try to set the watch, the upper stem came off. It's not threaded, but it seems to "wind" off somehow when I spin the ring. The watch isn't very old and I don't put it to rugged use, so I'm disappointed that there are so many failures already.

Just a matter of preference, but I find the gray (not beige) strap a bit odd--neither masculine nor feminine and not particularly sporty.


I love the Indiglo and the easy-set alarm on the Expedition watches. My last one lasted many years (almost 10?) and is still going strong after wearing through a few watch bands, and I just can't bring myself to change to a watch that doesn't have these very useful functions. I am glad to find this model which has a smaller face and all the same functions... BUT the date display function is rather unstable, at least on the one I got. I would expect the date on a watch to switch over some time around midnight, but this one sometimes switches over at 10pm (which I can deal with if it's at least consistent), and sometimes switches over to next day's date as early as 3 or 4 pm in the afternoon!

I wonder if it's a common defect in this model, or if I just got a specially quirky one. Probably should have returned it for an exchange but didn't want to deal with the hassle...


I am very pleased could actually not be more pleased and have told all my friends about it! The service was fast and the watch is just as described and just like the photo which doesn't happed that often. I would definitely order from the Chelsea watch company again.


Love this watch, the "easy set alarm" is cool and convenient. Would purchase again.


a Valentines gify for my wife. To replace a much worn and torn favorite , discontinued watch which never came off of her arm.
After looking locally, and being unable to find a replacement like it. Ta Da the internet, finding on which is the same, but named differently. Price check on BizRate. Amazon wins again, this time a partner. Well Amazon must be as good about picking partners as it is about taking care of its customers.

Timex Men's Expedition Analog and Digital Combo Stainless Steel Bracelet Watch #T45221

I love Timex watches. They are somewhat durable, long lasting, inexpensive, and for the most part they all function the same. This watch is attractive. In fact my 14 year old son has pretty much permanently borrowed it. However, it does not have the same functions as other Timex watches. It's much more difficult to set the alarms, and time. First you must press different buttons, and hold them down, which isn't easy because they are small and metal and you have press down hard. And the sequence is different than other Timex watches. In summary, attractive, but functions differently (and not as well) as other Timex watches.


I ordered this watch as a replacement for a 12yo citizen digital/analog watch that finally lost its water resistance. Pros: can hold the digital display indefinitely on whatever function selected. Indiglo. Luminescent hands. Timer. Dual Time. Chrono with lap. Alarm. Bezel elevated slightly above crystal to take impacts better. 100m water resist. All stainless. Battery type etched on back. Locking stainless band. Comfortable. Cons: Moderate weight. "Loud" ticking (old watch had digital second hand). Bezel seems to be fixed (not like I ever used it on my old watch).
Comparable watches from citizen, pulsar, others >$120US. Overall, very happy with product.


Like the look and feel of this watch. That said there are a few dealbreakers for me which is why I'm shopping for a new one:

1: Second hand does not glow in the dark. Not a huge issue for most people but I need it in order to do my job. 'nuff said.

2: Light only stays on as long as you hold it. If you hold it down and it changes to "light-stays-on-for-4-seconds" mode, that mode doesn't stick...an hour or so later and it's back to only lighting up while you press it. Why allow us to change the mode if I can't keep it?

3: This is the big one - THE KNOB FOR SETTING THE ANALOG CLOCK POPS OUT TOO EASILY. I am an RN and this means two things - I NEED to always know what time it is, and I do ALOT of work with my hands. I can't tell you how many times I've looked down and the clock is an hour or more off. It seems to be rubbing on my hand when my wrist is bent and just popping out. This occurs without even noticing, that's how easily this knob pops.


This Watch is good design. I have received in Indonesia and really cool in my hand.


I don't really know the difference between a good watch and a great watch, but this one works well for me. It does everything it's supposed to do, so I'm happy.

Timex Men's Expedition Metal Analog and Digital Combo Watch #T41361

I could not do better than some of the other reviewers, like the most outstanding review by Mr. Preston, but I will add that this is a really nice watch. It is true that the hands are pretty close in color to the dial, and that can mean the "time" does not jump out at you, but it looks great and is worth it for the touch of fashion. The alarm is quite loud and the features give you whatever you could want in an inexpensive, knock around or travel watch. I was surprised the band seemed so substantial... I guess I was expecting a more flimsy thin leather, but this is really nice and sturdy. So far, time is accurate and the features all work. Buttons are solid and Timex makes a good product. Amazon is great, so convenient and quick shipping... love this site. Get the watch if you want a reliable, low key travel companion, .... Get it.... but just save a few in case I want another one in the future.


i'm very glad of this watch. only things i don't like are black plastic buttons which don't look good in steel watch. those buttons work very good though.


This watch has a beatufil finish and the best analog - digital features of any watch at any price. One of the four digital set button fell out when adjusting new. I've owned four resin Expedition watches in five years. This stainless steel version is more refined and robust, but Expedition set buttons and bezels are a weak point. I have to return it, but I do want another. It is accurate to within seconds a month.


Up until today, I would've rated the watch with five stars, easily. Looks great, feels solid, feature packed, overall an excellent daily beater, BUT, the digital functions stopped working today and it's no longer switching between modes. While trying to get to the chronograph function, it simply gave a loud constant beep noise for about two minutes and now it's simply stuck in alarm mode. I've taken great care of this watch, and while not wearing it (mainly for office use) I store it in a watchbox with the rest of my watch collection (so it's not a question of abuse). Too bad too, I really liked this watch (so much, that I might even give it another shot considering the price). Oh well, Timex is known for reliability so maybe I was just unlucky, who knows.


The watch is fine. Possibly a bit heavier than I had anticipated but you get used to it. The multiple functions are easier to use than older versions but for me, just as complicated. The leather strap is better than previous Timex watches. Overall I think it is an excellent value for the price!
