I have enjoyed an older version of this same design for 20 YEARS with no problems. I have not used it continuously during that time, but at least 10-15 years of the the time that I have owned it. The battery lasted about 8-10 years each time. The buttons all still work. I have replaced the watch band once. Imagine how happy I was to find a watch of almost exactly the same design for less than I paid 20 years ago! This watch has some significant improvements over my original. A metal guard has been placed over the face of the watch to protect it. The "Set" button has been reduced in size to avoid accidental resets of the time. The great Velcro band has been retained. If possible, I like this watch better than my diehard original in design. Unfortunately, it will take another 20 years before I can comment on the relative quality. Even so, I love it for the price! 5 stars as a real bargain.
