I bought this watch for my granddaughter, she is having so much fun with it measuring her times on cross country runs and going walks with her mother.
This watch would be perfect if it weren't for the band. I asked for this for a birthday gift from my parents, thinking that the band was a fabric type, velcro, all the way around. I hate plastic bands because they sweat and hurt my wrists. WEll, this is fabric only half of the way around, the other half is plastic on the inside. And to make it worse, the top portion where the band loops through rubs terribly on the wrist bone. It looks nice but sits too high on the wrist unless you overtighten it. BUt it doesn't fit right at all. Rather than send it back, which is what I should've done, I tried to alter the band since you can't replace it. It is connected to the watch itself on the bottom. Well, that didn't work out too well. So I either will attach it to my shoe or just have to get another watch. I am so disappointed with this. The watch itself is great but I wonder, did Timex even try this on woman's wrists? This thing is so uncomfortable. Just FYI, I have medium size women's wrist. Not tiny and not large so this should have fit if this was made right. THis is the most uncomfortable watch I have ever tried to wear. The watch itself has great features and works great. That's the only reason I gave it 3 stars.
It's everything I need/want in a watch....easy to read, easy to see and better yet, love the color combo!!
This watch is great for running and easy to use. It's perfect for a woman's wrist, as it has a thin band and is grayish purple in color.
Love it! The lap timer is great for swimming. Only bad thing is it is more lavender color than light pink like I thought. Very sturdy, durable. Love it.
I actually bought this watch for my wife. She loves it. The display is very easy to read. It's pretty much dummy proof as far as setting it goes. She also says the band is very comfortable. She also uses it for Scuba Diving. We haven't taken it down past 70 ft. but it's performed well to that depth.
Watch came in the original packaging, it works perfectly, and got to me quickly. I use it for running outside and it's not heavy, fits perfectly on a woman, and doesn't feel bulky. Good buy
Timex watch arrived but did not have the chrono function to use as a stopwatch. I returned the watch to Amazon.com and am presently awaiting their response.
Watch looks great...description was slightly off as watch doesn't have a feature to "save" more than one workout...my previous Ironman watch had that feature and I miss it. The description said the bad was a velcro cloth band...it did not mention that there is a plastic backing on the band. (I had wanted an entirely cloth band)
Shipping was ridiculously slow. Item was in stock and didn't leave the store for 4-5 days. Why?
I've had this watch for about a month now. It's great! It's comfortable, the color is really nice, love the features of lap times & indiglo. Would definitely recommend this watch! It's my 2nd ironman (my son lost my first, which after about 7 years was still in good shape). Timex is awesome.
